Umeda Hospital

He noticed how first-rate restaurants use white tablecloths to provide their service with cleanliness. And as well as in the hospitals, cleanliness is one of their services. So he designed the signs at Umeda Hospital to easily be washed and changed just like sheets and gloves. That way the hardware in the building remains untouched and clean, helps the building to keep its original beauty.

MUJI tags and sign system

In order for their 7,000+ products to function successfully, they set rules for their tag system and in-store signage. To provide information about the intention of the products, and to let the customers make their purchase with confidence, they put the concept of the product on every package. They also make all the packages transparent for a better readability and for all the packages to blend to the store.
